the best thing about being grown-up
The best thing about being grown-up is that you get to eat apple pie for dinner twice a week if that's what you want.

Nota bene that my pie dish matches my course books and furnishing. That's also beacuse I'm a grown-up.
(här är receptet, det rekommenderas varmt och är lätt att variera, jag har alltid kardemumma i min...)

Firenze

I took a quick business trip to Florence Tuesday to Thursday this week (don't miss the heart-shaped island to the left, somewhere close to Nyköping)

With my (travel) partner in crime.

The view from our room early in the morning.

Breakfast... Cappuccino... Mmm...

Spegel spegel på vespan där, säg vem som slitnast i landet är.

The cathedral was big.

Crazily big...

Mindblowing... (you can't see it on the photos though, cause I'm a crappy photographer and there wasn't enough space to back away from it to cram all of it into my compact camera)

Apparantly this (a door on the baptistry for the cathedral) is where the renaissance was born (according to Maria's highly educated roomie)

We saw some pretty good street art... (instead of queueing for the Uffizi Gallery)

This tag was my favourite. It's a family portrait...

... can you see?

This one is at Piazza della Repubblica, where we spent lots of time.

One last glimpse of sun and warmth before taking the bus back to the grey Pisa airport and then the plane to cold and dark Stockholm.

Driving in darkness and heavy rain with The Knife in the stereo, coffee and peanuts to keep us happy (Maria took us safely home, what a driver!)
